"Ask a Recruiter"

Last Updated Thursday, 08 July 2010

Whether you are already a recruiter or thinking of recruiting, or even thinking of joining the Navy, come here to ask questions, find a virtual mentor or get some information from those who are currently in a Recruiting position. All help is considered "virtual guidance" and is not intended to  replace your Chain of Command.
Recruiters who are not NC's are welcomed to mentor, just as long as they have been recruiting for over 2 years! "Ask a Recruiter" includes those recruiting or supervising!

Let the questions begin!

NCC(SW) Douglas Breininger    (ver. 10/09) Volunteer since 2009

Currently at NRD Miami, this is my third recruiting tour, Zone Sup qualified, also have facilitated as a trainer and DEPCO
"Time to give back. The Navy has been good to me and I have experienced both good and bad. I truly believe we are recognized for what we contribute and as senior leadership have a responsibility to guide and mentor our replacements. Sometimes all that is required to get a Sailor back on track is a few good words that will allow him/her to steer the right course."

NC1(SW/AW) Tim Talbot     (ver. 5/09) Volunteer since 2009
"I have been through the good and bad times of recruiting. I know how stressful this job can be and I also know how rewarding it can be as well. I know what it takes to be successful and set yourself apart from the rest of the pack. I have helped mentor many Sailors looking for advice.."
